Quotes worth Remembering, from the booklet Quotable Quotes by Patsy Reed

·         Never stop learning.  It is the key to your growth.

·         Have sensible goals that you are working toward.   Goals drive boredom to oblivion.

·         Have some “Life [personal] directions” in mind.  If you do not know where you want to go,  then any directions given you will suffice.  Confusion has many partners, but none worth your undivided attention.

·         Converse with individuals who know more than you - you do not become victim to ‘stunted growth’; and “more    seasoned, matured individuals” keep you reaching upward.

·         Be open-minded to what can make you better.  This kills the root of high-mindedness and self-righteousness.  A mind is not to be like concrete - thoroughly mixed and   permanently set.

·         A person who cannot follow simple instructions is a person who sets himself up for a possible fall.  Avoid cliffhangers.

·         Pride masks the inner turmoil that is inside of an insecure person, or one who feels threatened in other ways.  Insecurity gives a false outlook on one’s self.

·         God’s intent is to wait until the Day of Judgment to judge a man; so, why should you “pre-judge”?

·         The road to experiencing “no lack” in your life is paved with PATIENCE.  Patience and Faith are partners!

·         Think before accepting the customs/traditions of others whose values contradict the Word of God.

·         Hurt is a fiery dart from the wicked one.        Uphold the Word of God instead of the word of hurt!.  Take your “Shield of Faith” and use it!
